Job Overview
The Junior Project Manager plays a key supporting role within AMZ Prep’s Project Management Office (PMO), helping drive projects forward through strong organization, clear reporting, and disciplined follow-through.
This role is responsible for keeping projects on track, maintaining timelines, trackers, and dashboards, building reports and analysis, coordinating meetings, and ensuring action items are owned and closed. It is an entry-level position ideal for someone early in their project management career or looking to enter into the project management industry, who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow.
Acting as a connective point across the PMO, the Junior Project Manager partners closely with senior Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support project execution, improve visibility, and lead smaller projects and tasks end to end.
This position requires strong organizational skills, comfort working with data, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Build and present recurring reports for the PMO and project stakeholders
- Build pricing and data analysis to support multiple departments
- Build weekly and monthly status reports and executive summaries
- Pull and clean data for pricing and margin analysis
- Create and maintain KPI scorecards and operational dashboards
- Handle ad-hoc data requests for senior PMs and leadership
Project Execution & Tracking
- Maintain project timelines, trackers, and status dashboards (e.g., in Smartsheet / Notion)
- Update RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies)
- Monitor project milestones and flag slippage early
- Maintain the PMO project intake / request queue
- Lead smaller projects and tasks from start to finish
Meeting & Coordination Support
- Book meetings and coordinate schedules across stakeholders
- Take clear, accurate notes during meetings
- Follow up on action items and drive them to closure
- Own the action-item tracker and chase owners for updates
PMO Coordination & Cross-Functional Support
- Work with and coordinate across the rest of the PMO Partner with Operations, Client Success, Finance, and Technology teams as projects require
- Support standardization of project templates, trackers, and reporting
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, analytics, or a related field (internship or co-op experience counts)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, basic analysis, and building reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to project or reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Notion, Excel) is an asset
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and eagerness to learn

Hybrid — Brampton, ON. Minimum 3 days per week in office.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
