    Negative Outlook

I have been working at BNP Paribas full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Pension plan has good matching Decent benefits - mortgage interest coverage, gym membership reimbursement, bus/train pass reimbursement

    Cons

Management has taken a hit - used to be able to be more autonomous but there's a lot of finger pointing, over delegating and overt favouritism Critiera to get promoted may be met but if you aren't rubbing shoulders with upper management, forget about it Bonuses are so so (same excuse for smaller bonus pool every year) Salary increase is a joke, doesn't even match inflation

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at BNP Paribas full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Relaxed environment, work life balance is good, 4 weeks vacation.

    Cons

Too bureaucratic, bad management, minimal career growth prospects. You need "connections" to get promoted because exceeding expections at your work isn't enough. Training department is useless. Have discriminatory pay policies for foreign worker v/s local. Not a good company for IT staff. Good for those who like to socialize a lot.
