I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of young and competent people, flexible work times, work from home.

    Cons

Audit and tax work 50 hours week. Management only cares about business, not employees.

    Advice to Management

Replace recovery model with cost + model. Award high margin projects do not penalize employees when recovery is low, it's not something employees can control.

I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you are ambitious, the firm will provide you with necessary tools and environment to pursue your passion. It is a hard work but if you have the right mind you will be great.

    Cons

This is not the firm for individuals who are looking for work life balance. You will get flexibility and great benefits. People first is the number one priority for the firm but you need to be flexible too. If you want to be part of the firm that strives to be a leader you need to have the right attitude. If you have zero ambition and just want 9 to 5 job this firm is not for you.

I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A variety of clients and challenging projects help employees to grow quickly without ever becoming bored

    Cons

Be prepared to work weekends and the odd 16-18 hour days

    Advice to Management

Unless you enforce work/life balance your managers will continue to work your consultants to the bone "40 hours" at a time.
