I worked at Desjardins full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

People are very respectful, and generally speaking, there is good work/home balance when you are in this organization.

    Cons

It is a large corporate environment, so don't expect to ever make a difference. It is managed through short-sighted politics, before actual strategic thinking. Reorganizations happen at every level all the time, so expect your role, and your boss, to change several times per year.

I have been working at Desjardins part-time for more than a year

    Pros

great company, great opportunity for moving within the company, excellent pay, willing to adjust schedules and work conditions to suit your needs, flexibility in picking up extra hours, great support from managers and team leaders, invest in their employees, surveys are consistently sent out and feedback is always given, consistently monitor employee statistics to ensure employee success within position

    Cons

work/life balance may be affected as it is required to work some weekend days and evening shifts. however this is rotated around everyone so it is fair. some clients on the phone are not very pleasant however managers and team leaders offer great support and resources when dealing with those situations
