Position Summary
Agra GPS is seeking a Technical Support & Development Specialist to join our growing team. This role combines customer-facing technical support with software development and product improvement responsibilities.
The successful candidate will become an expert on Agra GPS products, providing technical support to customers, dealers, and internal staff. When not actively assisting customers, this individual will work alongside the development team on software projects, bug fixes, testing, documentation, and product improvements.

Responsibilities - Technical Support
- Provide technical support for Agra GPS products, including CRG, CRG+, Bridge products, Vision systems, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and operational issues.
- Assist customers and dealers via phone, email, remote support, and messaging platforms.
- Escalate complex issues when necessary and assist with issue tracking.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Work closely with sales and support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Development & Product Improvement
- Assist with software development projects and product enhancements.
- Investigate and reproduce customer-reported issues.
- Participate in product testing and validation.
- Develop internal tools and utilities to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to software documentation and development processes.
- Work closely with engineering to improve product reliability and user experience.
Qualifications Required
- Programming experience in one or more modern programming languages.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn complex technical products quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable vehicle is required, as Agra GPS offices are located approximately 2 minutes south of Stony Plain.
Preferred
- Experience with C#, .NET, Python, C++, or similar languages.
- Experience with CAN bus systems, GPS technology, precision agriculture, or machine control systems.
- Technical support experience.
- Agricultural background or familiarity with farming equipment.
- Experience working with embedded systems or hardware products.
