I have been working at Tim Hortons part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Ok pay, as a closer/Baker I feel shift allowance should be paid, because closing the store is physically and mentally difficult when you only have 2 people working a large store.
    Great for social aspect.
The younger staff can teach you a lot!

    Cons

Older staff set in their ways, priority given to lazy tenured staff, favouritism very obvious. Manager has no backbone very little people skills and cannot deal effectively with confrontation.

    Advice to Management

    This is for owners:
Who is running your store into the ground?
Stop giving lazy unreliable staff schedule privileges, and priority!!!
    Reward top performers!
Ensure Managers know all their staff not just one shift of people!
    Work with all staff!!!
