Pros
Meet lots of people. Can play around with drinks and food (depending on your higher ups). I enjoyed the actual making of drinks and food. I personally loved the cleaning and tear downs, when there was enough time and staff to properly do it.
Cons
Short staffed. Some customers are straight up horrible and abusive. Would get so busy that you were running around trying to do the jobs of 3 people. Some of the team members were terrible to others and the management didn't take the bullying seriously.

Pros
If you are an international student this will help you to build up contacts, improve language and communication skills and make yourself ready to handle tough situations.
Cons
This company offers the lowest wages and that is not enough for anything. Most of the stores will provide tip as sharing basis so you will get the tip money after dividing it equally. No benefits, no holiday pays, no incentives, no free food. Some stores offer free food most of them charge 50%. The work is really hard, need to stand 8 hrs, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, dishwashing, washroom cleaning, garbage disposal, stock filling etc and no supervisor/ manager will appreciate you. Instead they will say faster faster faster. It is really difficult to get into their favourite list so you might have to do all the tough works and even the chances of promotion is not easy. Also the future is limited. The pay for supervisors and managers are not really huge. Once you quit the job, you have to start from scratch again and the experience and service never going to be considered.
