      Decent Place to Work

      Pros

-It is a great place for young people to start their employment - Depending on the location it can be either a fast-paced or moderately slow-paced working environment it all depends on the location - The menu is not extensive therefore making beverages and food items are not complicated and becomes second nature after a while. - You get to meet new people and build good customer service skills and communication skills

      Cons

      - Tim Horton's does not have a nationwide employee discount meaning that employees cannot get discounts at other Tim Hortons besides their location. - Depending on your location food is discounted at 25% for employees. This in my opinion is disheartening because most food places have higher discounts for employees in the food and beverage industry. - Customers may get confrontational about mistakes, so be prepared to take on some heat from customers.

      A decent starter job

      Pros

Its pretty simple work, fairly easy to learn. Coworkers are typically friendly. A lot of supervisers are willing to work with you and your life/schedule.

      Cons

The owners/higher management tend to be out of touch with the restaurant workers and have standards and expectations that aren't particularly fair or helpful. May have just been my experience though so take that with a grain of salt. Its also a lot of standing so you will get very sore, especially at the beginning.

      Pros

If you get a good owner/manager can be a really fun experience working with a team of social people. Nothing overly backbreaking and great way to work on your customer service skills!

      Cons

If you get a bad owner or manager, it can be living hell. Research as a customer, observe before applying.

      Pros

The other staff were generally nice and helpful, the work wasn't very challenging. I appreciated the flexibility of booking shifts. Smelling like coffee and donuts wasn't as bad compared to other places.

      Cons

Due to it being a fast food place, customers can be pushy and unreasonable.
