Your days will include:
- Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing refrigeration & boiler equipment
- Recording temperature data at designated times to condition product
- Performing water testing procedures
- Reporting anomalies to appropriate personnel
- Follows established departmental policies and procedures with respect to continuous quality improvement and safety (WHMIS)
- Minimizing downtime by performing preventative maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and hands-on corrective actions
- Presenting a positive and professional image of HyLife in all interactions
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Must have a valid 2nd Class Power Engineers certificate or be actively working toward certification, with several exams successfully completed
- Ammonia Refrigeration and Mechanical experience
- Conscious of all Workplace Safety policies including but not limited to MSDS, WHMIS, lockout & tag out, fall protection, and quality assurance
- Able to work independently and as a team member
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to instruct and maintain effective and efficient productivity from departmental personnel
