Summary of Position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day development, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring the system aligns with business objectives and best practices. This role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and enhancing solutions across core modules, primarily ITSM.
Additional Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Platform Development and Customization:
✱ Develop and configure components, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and workflows/Flow Designer to automate business processes.
✱ Customize and maintain the Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment workflows.
✱ Design and develop custom applications, forms, and modules within the ServiceNow environment.
Integration and Data:
✱ Assist with the integration of ServiceNow with external systems using various methods (e.g., REST, SOAP).
✱ Manage data imports and exports, ensuring the integrity of the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Support and Maintenance:
✱ Provide operational support, troubleshoot platform issues, and perform root cause analysis.
✱ Assist in platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
✱ Manage user access, roles, groups, and implement Access Control Lists (ACLs) to enforce security policies.
Collaboration and Documentation:
✱ Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
✱ Participate in the Agile/Scrum development process, including planning and code reviews.
✱ Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions and platform configurations.
Experience & Qualifications:
✱ Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, and administering the ServiceNow platform.
Technical Proficiency:
✱ Solid proficiency in JavaScript (client-side and server-side).
✱ Experience with Web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON) and utilizing web services (REST/SOAP) for integration.
✱ Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL concepts.
Platform Knowledge:
✱ Strong working knowledge of core ServiceNow ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog).
✱ Familiarity with the CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management processes.
✱ Experience customizing the Service Portal (using AngularJS/Bootstrap is a plus).
Certifications:
✱ ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is highly desirable.
✱ ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly desirable.

Compensation:
✱ $80/hour
