    -There are not many great food places around the office if you usually eat out -There are times when you will have a lot of work -- Don't be afraid of working hard. -Parking can be a hassle -- ask around for the best places to park.

    Keep investing in your training initiatives - employees highly value this Keep talking to employees to hear their ideas.

    I worked at ZE PowerGroup full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Industry leading product with many reputable clients. Good place to learn. How strict/flexible your hours are depends on your team/role. Lots of company social Great company for new graduates and people making career transitions.

    Cons

    There is no end to the number of stories of employees leaving after a year or two and getting *significant* pay raises elsewhere. How can teams be constantly understaffed? Because everyone just end up leaving for higher pay after a year or so. This company does not pay competitive wage. No amount of company social can fix that. There are a few very toxic individuals at this company.

    Advice to Management

    Revise everyone's salary asap (like the CEO said he would). It's time consuming when somebody leaves.

    Great work atmosphere with tons of events always going on (weekly breakfast, multicultural celebration lunches, soccer tournaments, sports day, etc.).

    Management can be a bit more open to ideas.

    About once a month free lunch

    Cons

    Long hours and strict schedule. 8-5 everyday. Also offhour support is needed. Simple and repetitive work, especially for developers. Team will work on custom parsers all day everyday. Management cares about if you are physically there for 9 hours a day, instead of how much work you have done. Someone who stares at screen for a day that does 1 ticket is much valuable than someone who has done 5 tickets a day...

    Pros

    Only for those who are desperately looking for job to survive.

    Cons

    Managers are trained to exploit employees and they will be promoted by keeping their team's cost and salary as low as possible. Most toxic environment. You will be treated like a slave. Painfully low salary. Smart people will be fired or they quit. In one sentence : company exploits valnurable peole like new immigrants and new grads to run its business. This company does not have a HR manager!

    It's good that they accept new immigrants.

    Cons

    They don't value people that's why employees are leaving. Salary is below the industry standard. Knowledgeable employees just leave.
