    Développeur Android Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Montreal, QC
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at MindGeek (Montreal, QC) in January 2015.

    Interview

    Writer Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MindGeek.

    Interview

Not applicable. The most difficult part was being part of a transition involving rude unprofessional people from Montreal, and of course, being lied to about the nature of my employment subsequently.

    Interview Questions

    • If I knew what brands were what and how to write for them -- and since the answer to that was yes, my interview process was pretty straightforward. Ironically their new head writer had no clue about anything and actually declined my boss's offer of a teleconference so we could all get on the same page. I've never seen anything so dysfunctional.   1 Answer

    Interview

Back when I was interviewed ,the process was very smooth and pleasant and the people who interviewed me were very kind to me.

I felt confident and positive from the start and the questions were normal . Not hard or anything. The whole conversation was more focused on what I believed I could offer to the Team.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a week. I interviewed at MindGeek.

    Interview

    Interviewer was rude!

If you don't know answer one of the interviewer will insult you, he gets hyper if you answer incorrectly. I assume one who knows everything should apply in MindGeek. Though the HR was cool on call and the process was smooth interviewer was really rude, I felt like exiting the interview in between. I think they should learn manners and understand how to interact with people. The questions were related to oops, mysql, browser caching, routing, github etc

    Data Analyst Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Montreal, QC
    Declined Offer
    Neutral Experience

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at MindGeek (Montreal, QC) in July 2020.

    Interview

The entire process took around 2 weeks, from initial interview to offer. The first step in the process was a test sent over email which was to be completed on excel within a set amount of time. It wasn’t too difficult but definitely requires a high proficiency in excel. Following that, an interview was scheduled over video. All interactions were with a recruiter up until the interview, which was with the hiring manager directly. Interview itself was quite casual, more of a conversation style than a very formal interview.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MindGeek (Montreal, QC) in May 2020.

    Interview

The process was fast and interesting. I interviewed with HR, then with a director. This was followed by a technical test at home and a virtual technical interview with members of the team. The final interview had discussions on their technology stack and my experience with similar technologies, and I loved to share and learn about it. It helped to understand the role as well.
