Job Overview
We are seeking an individual with a broad range of maintenance experience to join our team as the Property Supervisor. Reporting to the Property Manager, the Property Supervisor is responsible assisting with the day-today maintenance and management of our off-grid property.
This is a dynamic role that requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is physically fit and able to carry out all tasks on property

Key Responsibilities
As Property supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Assist the Property Manager in day-to-day operations of the property
- Manage staff daily and weekly tasks, provide strong leadership, and inspect task completion and quality
- Assist with regular inspections of the property to create ongoing maintenance plans and task lists
- Assist with overseeing and managing daily, monthly and annual maintenance programs
- Assist with Project Management, ensuring the necessary tools and equipment are onsite as required to avoid delays, and ensure project completion
- Assist with the management of WHIMIS documents and safety training
- Assist in coordinating maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
Skills and Qualifications
- Maintenance experience in a commercial or hotel environment highly desirable
- Electrical, plumbing and/or carpentry training an asset
- Experience with off-grid power systems an asset
- Strong leadership skills
- Experienced heavy duty equipment handler an asset
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with an ability to ask questions to achieve objectives
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Experience managing a preventative property maintenance program an asset
- Competent using all Microsoft Office software including teams, outlook, excel, and word
- Team player, with a willingness to jump in and help with any aspect of operations as needed
- Exemplary guest service skills, always looking to understand guest needs and go above and beyond to create the ultimate guest experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with other management to ensure the success of the entire business
- Strong communication skills
- First Aid Certification an asset
Other requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from the lodge
- Must be willing and able to work onsite during work shift rotations
- Flexible and willing to work a diverse schedule to accommodate the business needs
- Physically able to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and moving which are necessary to perform the job duties
- Fluent in English
- Legally able to work in Canada

Salary & Schedule
- Starting rate between $28-$30 dependent on experience.
- Shift Rotation - Flexible rotation working 10 hour days on averaging agreements typically working 4 days on / 3 days off, 7 days on / 7 days off or similar.
Location
Our lodge is in a stunning, remote wilderness location. Travelling daily to work is not possible for most people, so we provide a staff accommodation and meal program during work shifts rotations.
