I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IBM
Interview
After applying online with a cover letter and resume, the hiring manager called me and conducted a phone interview discussing my background and qualifications. At that point, we discussed an onsite interview and two weeks later I visited for that. The people were incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and helpful. It often felt more like a casual discussion than an official interview. Between the phone and in person interview, I had to complete an online skills assessment that seemed mostly math and personality driven.

I applied through university. I interviewed at IBM (Bangalore Rural) in Sep 2025
Interview
The interview was nice and very doable. It focused mainly on core logic and fundamental concepts, with a difficulty level comparable to standard university examinations rather than advanced industry-level questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IBM (Armonk, NY)
Interview
Was very professional but was based off how much research I did and prepared before that set me up to do well. Some of the questions that were asked were easy to answer if you put just a little amount of research and preparation done before hand.
