      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO

      Interview

There is a typed portion to the interview, just to observe your typing & multitasking skills since you will be typing while on the phone. There is also a mock phone call that will take place to get an idea of how the job will be. Both were not hard at all. Just be sure to pay attention to detail!

      Interview

Interview process was through webcam. I had never done a webcam interview, but the overall experience was great. Because I was in my comfortable environment. The interview, I believe, went greatly!

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at GEICO (Macon, GA) in Jul 2011

      Interview

Applied online on and got a call back the beginning of the next week. Had a short 10 min phone interview just going over my app and describing the job. Asked if I could do a more in-depth phone interview the following day. That took about 20 min going over the basic interview questions. Passed that and asked to come in to do role playing the next day (I would of had to do the computer tests, but I passed those on a previous occasion, so I didn't have to do it again, but I didn't pass role playing last time) and fill out paperwork. Passed that. I was super nervous, but it was pretty simple and straight forward. 3 fake phone calls from "customers" and you have a set of papers that overview the fictional company you work for and their "customer files" and a map of a fake town and towing/locksmith companies. Also forms you must fill out for each call. Your graded immediately after. After that, I was given my file to go to the final interview that same day, and met someone in the dept. where I was sat at a computer to listen to 3 real recorded calls and asked what I would or would not do differently, if at all. Then I had a more formal, in-depth interview. Was told to wait a few minutes so that the boss or whoever could review my file and they came back and told me I had the job! Filled out more paperwork, took my pic for my badge, did a little medical stuff, and had my hair cut for the drug tests. I start next month! Good luck to everyone. It can be stressful, and I even fudged up my first interview last year, but I reapplied this year and got it. So don't give up! Good luck again and God bless! :)
