    To be honest it’s hard to name a few but it’s been said work volumes can be high and in demand but it is to be expected in any forward thinking customer centric global organization, all-in-all it’s a great place to work!

    Pros

    Collegial, generally stable environment, interesting challenges and assignments. Overall a solid place to work. But it is team and group specific. New CEO has done a good job in making employees feel valued.

    Cons

    Groups are often silo'd, old school hierarchy culture from certain groups and people.

    processes are clear; tech is current and continually improved and tech support is there; leaders in work from home options more than 10 years; great profit sharing, benefits, and more

    Cons

    It is hard work and a lot is expected of the people but I think that is true everywhere.

    One PM model is a good start.

    Cons

    Frequent restructuring. Manulife has been struggling since 2008, so a lot of layoffs. They specifically target 55 years+ workforce.
