Pros
The idea of change has been taken to heart with policies removing the requirement for shaving for male employees, emphasis on diversity, recent change to salary transparency, and shift to a better pay mix. There's also good insurance benefits.
Cons
Recent mandate requiring workers to come in a minimum of 3 days a week is outdated. Management employees were able to bring in record profits for UPS in the two years of being remote yet there's still a stubborn push for in-person work. Pay is still lacking compared to other companies like Home Depot, one of the reasons many folks left this year. Vacation is 2 weeks across the board until you have 5 years of employment. Not many holidays either. Corporate headquarters is located in a heavy traffic area. No public transit subsidy, gym membership is not included and neither is food. Work life balance is lacking. Often hear of long term UPSers putting in 7AM - 6PM work days. This will get worse with return to office.
