Pros

None that I can think of at present.

Cons

Companies like UPS are the reason why financial inequality exists, and why it's so bad today. UPS doesn't care one bit about how much experience you have. You can have 20 years' experience and they still only set their wage rates to levels from at least a decade ago, despite the fact that the second quarter of this year, 2022, they posted profits over $24 billion. They also use recruiting outfits, many owned by people from India, and are probably paying these foreigners $40 to $60 per hour off your back, instead of paying you, the American citizen, a more-appropriate wage. I find this completely unacceptable behavior, by any company, and it's exactly this kind of disrespect for American workers that creates paycheck to paycheck living situation, forcing Americans to rely on credit and placing themselves in debt. These big-wig billionaires have the audacity to sit there talking about financial inequality and how it can be fixed, but they conveniently don't bother to recognize the fact that it's companies are GREEDY and not paying people more when they can very easily afford to. This amounts to nothing more than indentured servitude, which as far I'm concerned, has been the new form of slavery which has been taking place for decades now. They've been freezing wage increases all that time, and meanwhile they're pulling in billions. It's absolute disgusting!

Pros

The pay is excellent .health care is 100 % paid with 100 %coverage...with exception to eye and dental which is about 70%..coverage...pension is outstanding..full package with wages and benefits is worth 130,000 yearly..without a college education I am grateful for the standard of living UPS HAS AFFORDED ME AND MY FAMILY!...and with 27 years of service I now get 6 weeks vacation with 8 sick days..and 9 paid holidays...we work hard like many people in the work force but we are well compensated!.

Cons

The only con is while your children are young you give up a lot of family time..I never got to watch my kids play sports and missed a lot of their growing years...the job can be hard on your home life but if you can make it through those years you and your family will enjoy the financial freedom that UPS provides...and now I look forward to a prosperous retirement!...so hang in there all you young drivers...
