Pros
Work from home is a benefit for many jobs. If you are a student starting off your career, it is a good line of experience on your resume
Cons
The big picture was lost a long time ago. In the teams, territorialism, parochialism, and tolerance of bad behavior in order to get results or no management at all is endemic. If you don’t make decisions or manage your teams you can’t make mistakes and you can just throw others under the bus if results aren’t as expected at quarter or year end. It is sad, most of the high potential talent leaves. driven out/mobbed by the low or no performers. The high scores on the engagement surveys are a joke…those are your no-performers or low performers being happy to not do any work or be held accountable for lack thereof.
