Pros

You get to meet some of the best people in this company. Good place to start up your career. Nice start up salary. Great benefits.

Cons

After 5 years in the same position, you are still getting the same salary. Keeps on cutting employees right and left, and you are left with their work to do! It is easy for them to let go of people who spend a decade .. yes a decade, serving this company, as long as they get to save a buck outsourcing your job. No Raises, No advancement, No future.

If you are upper management as I was then you are normally taken care of.

Cons

Downsizing left and right, if you are not upper management you have to beware of being laid off as CSC does lay offs almost every 4 months. The CEO is only focused on bringing up the stock price so reducing headcount is a good way to show profit.

Pros

Growth opportunities for those who are in the right place at the right time with the right skills and willing to work hard. Annual employee review process. Benefits comparable with other major corporations.

Cons

Execs take huge bonuses annually yet continually say we need to be lean to support the organizational changes. No raises even if an employee is graded with a good review. When resources leave, they are never or seldom replaced thereby increasing the workload for those left behind. High attrition and constant changes of key management positions. Even though there is an employee review process, not all managers conduct reviews. Double standards/different rules for employees from different areas of the business.
