I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (New Orleans, LA) in Nov 2014
Interview
Applied and got the form response saying they’d received my application.
17 days later – Received the test and was told I had 48 hours to complete. Three out of the four sections were easy for me. Two out of three of the last section, Problem Solving, were issues that I couldn’t find definitive answers for in the Uber Help section, but I just did the best I could. Even for the other sections, though, you will want to thoroughly go through the Help section of the website. You could even do so before they send you the exam and then just refresh yourself when the exam is emailed to you.
5 days later - Got an email saying they’d like me to “move forward in the hiring process”, could I tell them my availability for a Skype interview. It was arranged for a couple of days later.
2 days later – Interviewed and was offered the job at end of Interview. Given choice to start in 2 weeks or 4 weeks.
Although I was in New Orleans at the time, my city of residence was Las Vegas, and my position was for the West Coast territory. However, there were people from all over the country working the same territory, even from Florida. So I don't know if it actually mattered where you lived.

Question 1
How do I motivate myself to get started when working at home?
Online assessment, recruiter screening, HM behavioral round, panel interview with case study. Pretty standard process
Uber has one of the best recruiting processes I've ever seen. Recruiter was very fast at following up (either EOW or next day) and I heard they even give feedback if u don't make it to the next round
I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY)
Interview
After I applied, I was invited to do an assessment. Following that, I had a recruiter interview, then a behavioral interview, and then a panel with a project and an additional behavioral interview.
