I had an interview for a retail associate position. As soon as I showed up to the location ten minutes before the interview, I was called by the hiring manager to tell me to come back another time. I did not have a car and it took an hour and a half to get there by train/walking. Never continued with the interview.

Easy....mostly interested in your ability to be regularly on time with consistant attendence. My construction experience helped immensly in my position as Sales Associate in gthe hardware department. I becamr the highest paid associate in that department in just two years with 3 salary increases.
