I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starbucks (Edina, MN) in Aug 2011
Interview
I applied for the job online and was sent an email to set up an interview. I set it up via email and went in for an interview two days later. The interview was 1:1 with the manager. The manager asked me to tell her about myself and asked of a time that I had great customer service. She also asked how would I provide great customer service. The interview lasted about ten minutes and she hired me on the spot.. I then talked with HR and was told when my first day of training was and pay.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
