Interview
I'll describe my COVID era interview process
1st round - Call with HR/Talent Acq. Discuss basic questions such as why smartsheet/pay/etc.
2nd round - Video interview with manager. Deep dives into your work history
3rd round - Case study interview with panel of 3. Smartsheet gives you a case study and you are expected to prepare a 10-15minute presentation on it. They will then act as the client and ask you questions about your proposal. My advice for future applicants: Do not waste your time on the presentation OR even spending time playing with Smartsheet. They do not care at all if you touch their product. They did not ask any questions about my presentation at all. All of the questions were generic that could be applied to any case study. I spent a ton of time building my proposal out in a smartsheet demo, only to be wasted.
My interview process ended there. I got a generic message from HR saying you are no longer considered. After asking HR for any constructive criticism on the case study, they replied it is out of company policy to give any feedback. So you literally spend hours on a presentation and have no idea why they didn't like it.
Following the case study the panel will ask you behavioral-style questions

Interview
I found Smartsheet's interview process to be extremely unprofessional and insulting. After applying for the SC Position on the company website, I received an email from a Smartsheet recruiter wanting to set up a phone screen. I replied the same day letting the recruiter know that I had selected the following Thursday on her online calendar for us to connect. When the day of the interview came around, I received an email from the recruiter, 15 minutes before our scheduled start time, stating that her "laptop shut down" and we would have to reschedule and to let her know my availability for the following week. I provided my availability for the following week within 15 minutes of receiving her email and she just never got back to me. I followed up on Monday, and then again on the following Monday and still nothing. I spent hours prepping, all to never even get the chance to interview. If the position is not hiring anymore or I am no longer being considered, at least have the decency to communicate that.

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen, and when the time came, she mentioned she had technical difficulties and would need to reschedule. Totally okay!
She then proceeded to ghost me and never work to reschedule, even after I reached out again a week later to confirm that the process would move forward, never an explanation or anything, Felt incredibly disrespectful especially since I was really excited about the opportunity. Never felt treated so poorly by a recruiter during the interview process
Very easy interview, started with a behavioral screening, then a more in-depth discussion, followed by a process presentation. The team was very responsive and I heard back with an offer within a few days.
