I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2017
Interview
The process strarts with an inital phone screen where you will briefly talk about the role and why you're interested in the position. From there, you go onto another phone conversation that is a little more in-depth as a 'formal' phone interview. Questions on the phone interview were pretty standard. You are able to ask questions about the role, company, etc. The recruiter created a friendly and easy environment to answer questions. After getting through the initial phone screens, you will get invited for an in-person with a couple different SDR managers and SDR reps as well. This is where it really is imperative to showcase your skills and company knowledge because it is a tough interview. The managers will challenge you and you need to be ready to know all of your strengths and weaknesses and speak on them in a confident and concise matter.
In my case, there wasn't immediate position open, so there was a waiting period after my interviews and receiving an offer. However, the recruiter stayed in constant communication to make sure I was informed on the process. She was super transparent about the process and feedback from the people I spoke with. I was even able to speak with the Director of all SDRs, so they really value you even before getting formally offered.
On top of it all, your recruiter will be able to help you with what to 'study' before the interview, making it easier to research. If you don't know much about Salesforce going into the interview, you will really enjoy the research portion of the interview.
