Great interview process here. They are thorough and really want to vet you prior to coming to Ironman (good sign). The whole department was very honest with me about their experience to date.
- How would you handle xx situation?

Anonymous Employee in Colorado Springs, CO
I applied online. I interviewed at Ironman Triathlon (Colorado Springs, CO) in Aug 2021
During the interview process, my potential employers were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were upfront about the needs and skills for the positions as well as the start date. They are willing to allow for autonomy and freedom for this remote position.
- Do you like working in a team or individual environment? Pros and cons of each?

Casual interview- not too much formal interview questions. First with the HR manager to speak about admin-related questions then 2nd interview with the team for the role of the job.
- How will you be able to add value to the role?

The interview process took about two months, start to finish. I was initially approached by a recruiter and screened by him. After agreeing it was a good match, I had 3 follow-up interviews - one with the VP, Global Partnerships and 2 with the EVP, Global Partnerships. After passing these rounds, I was flown to Tampa where I had four 30-60 min interviews with various department heads. There were about two more phone interviews following this before an official offer.
- Tell me about some of the brands you've brought into your current company. Describe a partnership you closed, the term and the investment level.

I was first contacted by HR manager for basic phone screening. 1 week later was contacted for initial interview. Then 2 more interviews with different managers across various positions that took another 2-3 weeks.
- Marketing Strengths - basically what makes you qualified for this.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Tampa, FL
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ironman Triathlon (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2020
This was a very quick process. I applied and the next day they were reaching out for to get a phone interview. It seems that they need quick turn around because the hiring manager was pressed to have the interview sooner rather than later. It also seemed that they had no room to negotiate with me on anything.
- Describe my prior experience.

Anonymous Employee in Tampa, FL
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ironman Triathlon (Tampa, FL) in Jul 2019
I met with seven people during my interview, including one person twice. It was a very standard interview process - screening with a recruiter, hiring manager, two peers, two members of the direct team, then my hiring manager's boss. Most was done in-person.
- Tell us about your event experience. How does your experience relate to IRONMAN? Are you willing to travel? Dug into my resume.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Tampa, FL
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ironman Triathlon (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2019
Interview seemed well. Was interviewing. Then midway through someone else walked in the room and it turned more contentious about my resume. Biggest complaint is never receiving any notice of denial to anyone.
- Standard Database Questions surround MS SQL Servers Describe Joins How you handle ftp transfers do you work with ssis what would you do in a random situation type questions

On site interview meeting with a variety of employees across the business and at different levels. I was overall impressed with everyone I met with. Looks like a good company to work for.
