The interview process was extremely unprofessional. The hiring manager called me out of the blue to schedule a meeting for the next day. The following morning I came down with the flu and asked if we could push our meeting back by a couple days. The hiring manager replied that they were operating under a tight deadline and had already extended an offer to another candidate who had a competing offer. They were basically trying to bring me in quickly as a backup plan. I responded that I would be willing to chat by phone. No one replied to my email or gave me any update. I am clearly not interested in continuing the process.
