Interview
I went through 3 rounds. First two rounds were great. It involved a combination of HR and Technical questions. The third round was supposed to be a video interview with both Behavioral questions as well as Technical questions. I don't know what happened but my interviewers didn't seem interested in taking the interview. They had no questions for me. It seemed like a formality to them to just get done with it. It seemed like they already had a decision in their head.

Silly Interview process. Took a while to complete overall interview. Based on Glassdor reviews, I kind of knew Box sucks at finding right technical talent for this particular job but I just had to experience it how. You can feel the startup feeling for overall process. They give immature reasoning for missing the dead-lines for interview dates.
When some companies give you wrong first impression, you certainly want to think twice. To be honest, I was hoping a lot better from Box but I guess front-line interview individuals are missing the goal.

Question 1
Interviewer has no idea about interview process. How many times you see the interviewer raise the voice during interview process, when interviewee ask to explain too vague questions ? They test you on tools not on technology, which is very stupid of them. Did you use this so and so tools or not ? seriously ??? There is no rocket science in learning tools. Learning,maintaining and executing technical skills is the key point but they dont test you on that, which is the most ridiculous part of interview process. The way technical Interviewer talks, you can sense that he doesn't want to hire someone better than him. Box has to do a lot better on phone screening interviews. They certainly doesn't know how to gauge someone's talent for the right fit.
I am sorry that you had such a bumpy interview. This definitely isn't the kind of experience we want to create for candidates, and we appreciate you taking the time to give us constructive feedback.
