15 minute phone screening, followed by a 1 hour virtual interview 3 weeks later with a panel of roughly half a dozen individual interviewers. The interview board struggled to find their own relevance, and several were argumentative and generally unpleasant. Next to zero inquisition or interest into my experience or background was ever exhibited. Questions instead tended to be more in the realm of amateur psychologist (or perhaps astrologist), including "If you found a genie, what would your 3 wishes be?", and "Tell us about a book you recently read." Had the interview lasted any longer, I'm certain the next questions would have been, "What is your spirit animal?", and "Which Harry Potter Hogwarts house do you think you would be in?" At rare times when they stumbled into quasi-technical questions, it was clear that they had a flawed intellectual understanding of their own query. It ended with unoriginal brain teasers. I spent most of the water jug problem distracted by where I had seen this before: Die Hard, or Lethel Weapon? (it was Die Hard 3). The entire experience was like a relentless fever-dream, as incoherent as it was irrelevant. The lady in the phone screening was polite and professional though.
