It was very unclear what the interview process was; the HR function within AIG is really broken. I joined in a specific role, and wanted to use this as a stepping stone to a more appropriate role. After being hired, I was staggered to find that I was NOT allowed to do this and had to sit within my current role for an 'undetermined' time.
