Pros

None - during the interview process the MD and CEO (Co-owners) we're very positive and painted a rosy picture, promised change after a challenge about the poor customer reviews online. See Con's for reality. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Cons

Toxic culture lead by the co-owners; bordering on bullying and incredibly unprofessional. All they care about is shifting units; they don't care about staff, partners, suppliers and worst of all customers. Product is sub-standard, and they know it, but they sell volume and ignore the product issues and customer feedback. They actively leave fake reviews on the various review sites and demand staff/ suppliers bump up their scores. They often advertise false delivery dates; knowing full well the product is not even out of the factory; this is all to get cash flow and then the Customer Service team have to deal with large customer backlashes when deadlines pass. Staff turnover is often a strong indicator of a company's quality; and the fact that theirs is high says it all; including the three Director's leaving the business in the last 6 months. Staff morale is low and they rely on hiring young staff, paying low wages and burning through them.

Pros

apart from the team that I worked with I would honestly have to say nothing. The management are unorganised and blame other staff for there mistakes, particularly the customer service department. Your always left picking up the pieces of mistakes they have made behind everyones back which stops you from getting actual work done...

Cons

same as the pros. management are a huge problem and never pass information on, they always expect you to know what needs to be done and then blame and tell you off when its not.. really bad culture which is sad because a part from the owners the people are nice and work hard. They are always out of stock and preordering products with delivery dates that they know are too early just to make money. this made it so hard for anyone in customer service to do their job right because you always ended up dealing with problems that could have been solved by the owners telling the truth about when the tubs would actually be arriving to customers. really seemed like they didn't know what they were doing so they were not able to offer any good support or advice. the owners should do 1 hour in customer service in peak season then maybe they would relise the stress there unecessary actions are causing staff. overall a really unsupportive and stressful environment where most managers are run off their feet dealing with problems the owners create by themselves and then cant fix.

Pros

The customer service team is diverse and easy to communicate with. They help to bring a welcoming and relaxed working environment to the department allowing for high productivity. There is a nice work/social life balance and they have allowed me to work part-time around my university schedule.

Cons

The city centre office location means that it can be uncomfortable to go home on Friday night as people are going out when you are leaving. No disability access and no ability to work from home.
