This place is quite conflict-adverse so there's a ton of group-think. Well at least until they kick you out of the group.
What they don't tell you about is the high turnover. Most new employees don't make it to their second anniversary. Not a single member of my "cohort," whether they were in sales, marketing, content or customer service are still with the company (gone within a year). When it is time to cut costs, seniority stays, and newer employees are discarded.
There is nothing special, innovative or disruptive about what they do. Yet they keep masquerading as a tech company. They prioritize superficial perks and trappings over things like a decent salary, job stability and a reasonable commute. They have changed their "business model" multiple times, which is why I brought up cutting costs.
