The Management are the biggest issue at Paybase, with very clear favourites and an appalling attitude to others. During my time, multiple people left for various reasons, and after speaking to them, at least two departed due to issues with management.
The CEO is extremely condescending and often difficult to work with, and the CTO is very similar. Management are very difficult to get hold of, and when asking for advice on work (due to it being such a small company, you often go directly to management), it is very rare to get a response, which is not the attitude that I would expect when trying to make a business work. There is a very clear 'us' and 'them' divide. It provides a very uncomfortable atmosphere, and for a company that preaches so frequently about 'company culture', this is actually one of their weakest points.
