Pros

Amazing team, very collaborative, friendly, smart and diverse. Working as part of the tech team means that you get to work on really complex and interesting problems and get to experiment with new technologies on a constant basis which means your tech skills are kept up to date and you get to work with friendly people that are encouraged to speak their mind and challenge management decisions. This is not a place where employees are micromanaged on the contrary you are given a lot of autonomy and estimates are just that, estimates not something people are hold accountable for. All managers are friendly and down to earth. CTO and CEO although ridiculously smart are very approachable and they don't make you feel like they are superior to you. Great benefits and flexible working hours. Annual £1000 training budget/per year/per person to be used for books, online courses and going to conferences. Contributing to open source or public speaking at conferences are both encouraged.

Cons

The onboarding process can be a bit overwhelming to new employees because of the complexity of the system and the problem we're trying to solve.

Pros

Wonderful work life balance, with lots of perks and room to work from home as needed. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the office. Lots of interesting projects to work on in relation to the product, being able to make an impact in all parts. Knowing support is there when needed. Systems in place to recognise and acknowledge performance. My pay has been reviewed on several occasions and increased without request, recognising my increased value. Many social activities from team lunches to events outside of work.

Cons

There are rare stresses dealing with clients, deadlines and changing priorities - but that's the software business.
