      Unrealistic Expectations, Lack of Boundaries, and Pay Disparities

      Pros

      Hybrid work flexibility. The concept of unlimited PTO. The clients and team members are fantastic to work with.

      Cons

      Pay disparity: Despite my experience, I was paid significantly less than a much younger colleague hired for a similar role. This felt unfair and demoralizing. Boundaries are not respected, and overwork is the norm. Expect late hours with little acknowledgment. Unrealistic expectations lead to burnout and frustration.

      If the client assigned to you is kind, you'll be okay.

      Cons

      Disorganized management. They assign you projects beyond your experience without consulting you first, then expect you to manage them. You will not have a clear career growth path. They don't pay bonuses, even if they promised to do so. They assign you many projects and expect you to meet their deadlines.
