Pros

Nothing good to say about this company.

Cons

This company will over work you and stress you out to the Point of having to quit. 4 of their best employees have quit in the last year. Management will never take responsibility for how broken their company is.

“Many are called , few are chosen” sums up the biggest change for NIC Partners since becoming 100% employee-owned. Said another way, NICP is becoming less tolerant for “under performance” and "good-enough performance" isn’t good enough anymore. I expect more turnover not less as NIC P becomes focused on achieving our planned growth and resulting increased value benefitting all employees being an ESOP. “Favorites” won’t matter as employees will see that performance and value creation become the measures of success, not only for management but for all employees. NICP is the place to work if you are relentlessly focused on creating and achieving value for yourself and all employees. C players need not apply.

Pros

None really any pros that I can think of.

Cons

This company takes care of it's upper management but chews up and spits out everyone else. I was laid off 2 weeks after my wife lost her baby. Employee's like the director of sales are happy, they get padded wallets. This company has lost 2+ CCIE's in about 8 months and the last one is getting ready to walk. They over work, under pay everyone except the owner and his crony's.

Pros

I loved working for NICP and with all the people there, and saw a lot of good team effort. The techs are hard workers. I like the fact that the company is involved in improving the learning experience at so many school districts. I think it's cool that it's an employee-owned company. I think the CEO is a good man and is trying hard to propel his company forward.

Cons

I felt I was slightly underpaid for the level of commitment I demonstrated, all that I did and how hard I worked. While the company is an ESOP, the employees aren't treated like they are part-owners or have a say about anything. The Managing Partner should communicate more with the employees about what is going on, the status, changes, decisions, that are being made that affect all the employees. By his lack of communication, it conveys that maybe there are things happening that he doesn't want his employees to know about.
