Pros

Nothing good to say about this company.

Cons

This company will over work you and stress you out to the Point of having to quit. 4 of their best employees have quit in the last year. Management will never take responsibility for how broken their company is.

NIC Partners Response
10y
“Many are called , few are chosen” sums up the biggest change for NIC Partners since becoming 100% employee-owned. Said another way, NICP is becoming less tolerant for “under performance” and "good-enough performance" isn’t good enough anymore. I expect more turnover not less as NIC P becomes focused on achieving our planned growth and resulting increased value benefitting all employees being an ESOP. “Favorites” won’t matter as employees will see that performance and value creation become the measures of success, not only for management but for all employees. NICP is the place to work if you are relentlessly focused on creating and achieving value for yourself and all employees. C players need not apply.

Pros

NICP is, hands down, the best company I’ve ever worked for. After 11+ years here, I can confidently say this is a place where people genuinely care about each other, and where leadership is deeply invested in the growth and success of every employee. It’s a rare thing to find a leadership team that is not only approachable and supportive but truly employee-focused. The culture here is incredibly welcoming and collaborative—more like a close-knit community or even a family. As a Senior Engineer, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a dedicated and hardworking team that always steps up to support one another and do what it takes to deliver for our customers. Our three core values—Customer Focused, Team Players, and Relentless—aren’t just buzzwords, they’re lived out every day. My manager exemplifies everything you’d want in a leader: supportive, genuinely caring, and always making sure the team feels seen and appreciated. High standards are set, but the environment is never cutthroat—it's about pulling together, not pushing each other down. If you’re someone who values personal growth, mentorship, and being part of a team that takes pride in what they do, this is a truly special place to build your career.

Cons

People are dedicated to getting the job done which can lead to some late nights in on the engineering side, but I consider that to be the nature of engineering where ever you work.
