      Good Vision - Poor Management

      Pros

      Good vision, worthy cause, flex time, competitive pay, reasonable benefits.

      Cons

      All management was friends with the CEO, no opportunities for growth or professional development, culture of fear, didn't trust anyone, raised my hand for all kinds of things that I wanted to get involved in and got shut down every time, meaningless job titles unless you are friends with the CEO or are pushy and aggressive - which creates a competitive, divisive culture.

      Pros

      I'll piggy back on the last review's headline "A place where your work makes a difference". Lumen's mission is true and fulfilled daily for students and instructors nationwide. The team is amazing, likeminded, determined and hardworking. A true well-oiled machine with little to no hiccups. It's a growing start up with issues here and there but a great team to be a part of.

      Cons

      Sales are more important than engineering. Inadequate internal tools and lack of technical writing for knowledge base articles.
