      Pros

      HR and the Proposal department is outstanding. They are true professionals in their fields. As for the proposal department this is a double edged sword. As this department is able to get most contracts they bid on, because their ability to write so well, but there is no real support for the PM's after the contract has been won.

      Cons

      Penny pinching sub contractors, multiple law suits, no support for staff after an awarded contract, Longview has grown so fast there has not been enough time to place quality systems to support said growth.

      Pros

      Telework Good for people just looking for a paycheck and like to look at the clock to see when the day ends. Good for people who really never get anything done, but likes to make it appear they are overworked.

      Cons

      RUN if take pride in your job and love what you do! You are just a number to fill their quota for the types of employees they said they would have for their contract with the government. You may not be able to utilize what you are certified in ...but it looks good for them when they say they have “x” number of employees certified in “x” on their books. Communication is non existent at all levels! Unprofessional management and above. I don’t think they have any idea of what “onboarding” or introducing you to the team means. No opportunities for growth.

      Tough to play with the big names in contracting once you're not not

      Pros

      - Good pay - Managers give effort to support you - Growing and slowly winning projects

      Cons

      - No bench time (Once your contract is up, they're not going to keep you around) - Very little culture (most employees are on-site and there are very few interpersonal relationships outside of teams) - No raises or inflation adjustments - Vague performance goals This all stems from the top. The company is all about winning contracts and making money for the leadership. There is very little mentorship or attention paid to people actually working on the teams.
