Pros

*80% of people there are genuinely lovely and respectful *Free street parking and lots of public transport nearby which made getting to work easy *Many senior techs here are absolutely incredible at what they do and will often share their knowledge with you on their own time and dime *They will often hire people of limited IT experience which can definitely be a pro if you are looking to gain some skills and move on to bigger and better things. They will often hire based on soft skills and transferable skills, which many companies don't anymore. University degrees in IT or related topics are a huge plus in getting hired here.

Cons

*Heavy amounts of nepotism and this is encouraged with a HR ran incentive of financial bonuses for referrals being hired and staying in the company for certain periods of time. HR protection for said nepotism employees is normal. *Far too much separation between tech teams and thus client knowledge is often lost in the process when team members leave, become unwell or transfer to other areas of the business (especially if they worked very closely with that client) *The financial reward system for techs is very easy to exploit - They use Crewhu points like a bartering system - example: I will only help you with this client if you give me CrewHu points. Oh you are out of CrewHu points for the month? Sorry can't help ya! *It was a chaotic and painful time of transition and growth in the department I worked. Complete lack of leadership and direction. Promised "things would get better" by HR repeatedly but evidence showed things were just getting worse. *I was asked out multiple times by multiple men in my short time there and struggled to manage this overwhelming attention. Felt uncomfortable going to HR or management about it due to the lack of action on the aforementioned points. Felt I had to play along to win the likability game. I would not recommend working here if you are even a mildly attractive young woman. Certain team members will use this to their advantage by gatekeeping information or not attending to urgent client matters unless you play along with their feelings about you a bit. Very old school in that respect. *No full WFH option - Many employees had to push pretty hard to even get a 3 days WFH option. Most are on a 2 day WFH contract. Only senior long term employees (or those with significant political sway) are fully WFH. Very odd for a tech business as all the work the techs do can easily be done remotely (except onsite techs) and is the case of most regional, interstate and overseas employees anyway to be fully remote. Seems more like a ploy to impress clients and potential clients when they visit the office.

Pros

I worked at Kaine Mathrick Tech (KMT) in the professional services team alongside Scott, the Professional Service Manager. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The culture is built on teamwork, trust, and a shared drive to deliver great IT solutions. It's fast paced but always supportive. KMT genuinely invests in staff growth. Whether through promotions or allowing people to move into different departments, they help you find a path that fits your strengths and goals and they follow through on it. They also care about well being. After feedback from staff, they introduced a relaxation room that management supported straight away. It really showed they listen. The cupboards are always stocked with food, and the office vibe is welcoming. They also host regular social events like the end of financial year party, the Christmas party, and monthly catch ups that keep things fun and connected. Management is approachable, respectful, and understanding. You feel heard and valued, which is rare in a company of that size. KMT uses the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, so issues (IDS) are actually raised, discussed, and resolved. It builds trust and consistency. Recognising individual achievements is something many companies struggle with, but KMT gets it right. They balance strong leadership with celebrating the wins of each team member. Their partnership with Challenge Supporting Kids with Cancer also says a lot about their values. It’s more than just work. They care about the bigger picture. This is an honest review from a past employee. Leaving was a hard decision, and I’ll genuinely miss working at KMT. The leadership, team, and culture made a lasting impact. If you’re looking for a managed service provider that respects you, helps you grow, and surrounds you with friendly, exceptional people where you’ll laugh, learn, and celebrate your wins together Kaine Mathrick Tech is your hidden gem.

Cons

Fast paced, high performing MSPs that can be a challenge for those coming from smaller MSPs or smaller internal IT roles.

Pros

Most people are nice and friendly.

Cons

Massive micro management culture, appalling pay levels. Shutdown when asking for more pay. Told you are replaceable. Truly an awful company.
