Pros

You have the freedom to set and adjust your schedule online, making it an excellent side gig to complement an existing tax practice or semi-retirement. Intuit provides all the necessary hardware (such as laptops and headsets) and access to free tax education, including courses through the Intuit Academy.

Cons

The peak of the tax season can be highly stressful. You will be required to balance phone calls with preparing tax returns, often with very little downtime between clients. Reddit discussions frequently point out that the internal software can sometimes be buggy or confusing, which can be incredibly frustrating when you are on a live call with an anxious taxpayer.
