I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great comp, benefits and perks. Big focus on work life balance which is key during this pandemic

    Cons

Prioritization between Canada and US is a challenge since their scale and impact of projects are so large. Seeinig improvements though quarter by quarter.

I have been working at Intuit for more than a year

    Pros

    - Working from home is a plus - Great group of people in the expert and team lead positions (all contract workers)

    Cons

    - The organization only hires contractors and do not provide full-time employment - Pay and benefits are really lacking especially during covid - Upper management really need better guidance and desperately need to hire tax consultants to help in their decision making process or to get some idea of what tax accountants do (they run a tax division after all) - everyone in management is set in their ways and unwilling to listen to contractors or frontline experts when they propose changes that would improve the workflow and efficiency greatly and reduce frustrations of experts - very poor work-life balance as I get a lot of work assigned to me and when I am done at the end of the day I only have time to eat or go to sleap and do it all again the next day (12-24 hr workdays) - too many virtual meetings

    * good benefits * opportunity to work with different teams * people who genuinely care about doing a good job * engaged leadership team

I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Employee culture - "it's the people" is a fundamental concept that everyone embraces, from a work and life perspective Future-looking - there's always a continual focus on what's ahead, learning from mistakes from the past

    Cons

Be prepared - as a tech company, the concept of "work hard, play hard" is absolutely true. For as much focus as there is on having a good time, you need to be prepared for those times when you'll need to work wonky hours, or have days full of meetings. The majority of managers understand that "work/life balance" is critical, but at the end of the day, you need to be able to keep up and motivate yourself.

I have been working at Intuit for less than a year

    Pros

An incredibly inviting workplace that is understanding of the need for a work-life balance. Good pay for co-op students and co-ops are treated like full-time employees. Because of this, co-ops receive important work and many great benefits. Intuit has been incredibly adaptive and accommodating during the work-from-home COVID-19 situation.

    Cons

There are many meetings throughout the week.

    - The People you get to work with on a daily basis (not leadership) - Benefit Programs

    Cons

    - No Work/Life Balance, standard is 60 hour work weeks - Culture is deteriorating under new leadership - Lack of resources - lay off 700 employees but who is doing the work that is left behind.

    Pros

Fantastic working environment that includes great work/life balance, great people and a fantastic set of leaders who inspire me every single day.

    Cons

Sometimes our culture slows us down. We care and value everyone's opinion and that's a good thing but sometimes this creates impediments to agility.
