If you're good and eager to learn, then in Ubisoft you will. - It's a big company globally but the Pune studio has a small company vibe. You have a sense of ownership. If the game you worked on makes a profit, 25% of the game's profits are shared with the dev team. People have taken home project bonuses of 1 lac+ in the past. - Equality, a feeling of brotherhood and 'we're in it together', project-centric work ethic, respect for employee rights, and a good work/life balance make this an awesome place to work. - As a programmer you get to work on cutting edge stuff created by the teams in Montreal and France. Cons
Salaries are on the lower side. Other companies could pay me up to 3-4 lacs more per annum. But I still choose to be here. Why? No other studio in India provides you this kind of opportunity and work atmosphere. If you love money more than games, you might not want to apply here.
