Pros

Get to work with some amazing, fun and talented production people. Life / work balance is generally respected - not a lot of overtime / crunches required.

Cons

The only opportunity to work on AAA franchises is when outsourced from Montreal - no strong internal IP. Lack of a strong studio identity, weak leadership and unqualified leads / management directing people more talented and experienced than themselves. There is no stimulating creative culture for the artists - very little encouragement or opportunity to advance within the company unless you are good at internal politics. Little or no training for artists.

Pros

Remote work, free games. Good co-workers.

Cons

Horrendous pay, expectations of work absolutely unreasonable. Turnover rate pretty high, and instead of hiring new employees, just had the remaining team take over the work that required like 10+ employees. Then after requiring 200% productivity to make up for the lack of a team, complained about teams.
