Pros
Uber is definitely still innovating. Although there are a few players in this space already, the problems these companies are solving is fairly new. Having said that, Uber is innovating everyday and they don't think twice before adopting a new technology or changing their current methods. People are very smart and are always willing to work extra to make Uber a better platform.
Cons
What I have seen is people are pretty work oriented and don't really communicate much as a team (except for work related topics). Meetings are generally quiet and only talk about work and nothing else. Nobody shares their personal stories or experiences. Feels strictly like work! I can't really tell if it's same always because I have only started working after covid and have been WFH since the beginning. But I think general communication is important to build confidence and trust among team members.
