      Pros

      I work at ATG--so the environment may be different than at other sites. I have a diverse team with a profile of experiences prior to Uber. I learn new things from my coworkers every day. I have a great immediate team and a good boss. Most of the people that work here are invested in the companies success. The market for self-driving vehicles is incredibly competitive, and we want Uber to win. I am a woman engineer, and I have had an incredibly positive experience thus far. I think the company is committed to making Uber a better place to work for women and other underrepresented groups.

      Cons

      ATG will ignore important Uber initiatives by saying "We aren't a part of ride-sharing, this doesn't apply to us". That can be frustrating, especially when a program/training/experience becomes available to Prime and you feel it is important.

It's great to see you call out the quality of your coworkers; we hear that consistently and believe it's the best part of working at Uber. Thank you for the advice as well; I know the entire recruiting org, ERGs, and many other teams internally are working on projects to increase the pool of women and minorities for roles across the company and especially in tech and ATG.       Pros

      I love being able to work around truly passionate people who are ready to change the world. The culture is great, free snacks and food is big plus. I had the opportunity to take ownership of projects within my first month

      Cons

      The hours are much longer than any other job I've worked in, but this is expected to change as we continue hiring more help
