Pros

If you're unemployed, it's a check. If you consider leaving your current job, make sure it's worth it. If you're lazy and need leisure, Sutherland is ALWAYS hiring. If you're ambitious, as well as hate disorganization and drama of any sort.. You will be writing a similar review soon after starting. #hopethishelps

Cons

So unprofessional it's embarrassing. I started early March and this review is beyond overdue. The environment is 90% women, high school minded, late aged women. The training isn't thorough and the trainers and managers are arrogant, as well as very incompetent. This is a call center and they are currently blasting music through a Bluetooth speaker on the production floor where "electronics are prohibited". I understand if it was a little more subtle tunes but Justin Timberlake, Trey Songz, Mary J, Beyonce, TAKE YOU DOWN by Chris Brown, really?! Customers are upset because they cannot hear, I cannot hear myself think, let alone hear the customer speak. When asked to turn it down, it was turned up louder. It's not as if the floor is unattended either, one of the floor supervisors put the music on.

Pros

Remote work and great coworkers

Cons

Extremely low pay for the amount of work and the type of calls that you have to deal with. Lots of mircomanaging. Unrealistic metrics. Lack of knowledge and competency from leadership because at no point should your workers know more than you about the job itself. No care for unforseen life circumstances that affect your ability to work. Very stressful and mentally exhausting which often leads to burnout. No recognition for hard work and meeting metric goals. Too hard to get PTO approved. Tech and internal systems are always breaking which affects your ability to do your job. No one is ever on the same page which often leads to being given incorrect information. No room for growth or opportunities to go into other roles. Benefits are not that great. Mid health insurance plans, no 401K match, no parental leave, and no internet reimbursements. They'll sell you a fairytale in training so BEWARE.
