Pay is mainly through commissions and bonuses and there's no restrictions to the amount of compensation (unlike salary). We can write off our expenses and results to lower income tax. Sunlife is the most trusted brand due to its stability. The Sunlife financial advisor role really provides career security as it is in demand regardless of our economic status.

Will have to invest lots of hours initially to establish strong foundation for the career
