Pros
- I was able to switch to a team delivering products of very high impact - ability to take ownership quickly (I led my first project 3 months in) - very talented team - few meetings
Cons
- All remote so I was not able to build relationships with nearly any of my colleagues, and none from other departments - Having been a senior before, I did not appreciate that I was put in the mid level bucket, and although I took senior level responsibilities (onboarded team, architecture planning, coaching, hiring, company wide presentations) I was not given a timeline towards a potential promotion back to the senior level.
