Pros

Nice coworkers and flexible hours for the csr. But if you want to work full time it will be almost impossible as a teller

Cons

When looking to move, it depends on how accepting your boss is. They can scuttle your plans quickly. Promises but nothing else. They prefer to hire people with no background in banking, no experience instead to promote their own employees with experience. Bad management, they will push you to work hard, without giving you any tools or strategy. The bank is not what it used to be. Lots of unsatisfied employees, strangled by the management. The managers want just to move forward in their careers, running after bigger salaries, don't care about the employees who really work hard for small salaries. Too many changes, employees leaving the bank being unhappy and stressed out. In my branch, half of the old and experienced staff quit because of the bad and new management. Not a peaceful, rewarded or beneficial for your health environment. Not to mention how many employees are on sick leave or burn out because of the stress.

Pros

A couple of smart people who are kind and open to mentoring. Hours not bad given no deal flow in US.

Cons

Top heavy management. Culture values heavy politicking. Low bonuses.
