It was pretty okay. I really liked how well organised everything was. One must have a good availability with this. Easy asked questions and hiring was possible. One of the best places to work for a good career
- How great is your availability?

There was a one-way video interview that asked you a couple of questions, a technical challenge that you would complete on your own and a virtual interview that was done with the recruiters
- Please tell me about yourself

Pretty hard, 2 person panel grilling me on questions that were annoying to talk to. They weren't giving much information at all. and were typing on their computers while talking
- How do you invest 100k

Had a lot of situational questions, most of them were on situations I faced and how I reacted or acted at the time. They have a lot on their site
- One was "tell me about yourself" others were like "name a time when you displayed leadership"

Interview with the MD (Head of group) and an Associate. Relatively laid back. 30 min interview was split into: 5 mins about yourself; 5 mins behavioural; 15 mins technicals; 5 mins for questions
- Explain what's going on in the housing market - what's your views/thoughts? What stocks are you watching? Where is it currently trading?

Recruiter called me for a short screening phone interview, which she asked about availability, why are you looking for a job, salary, etc. the salary range was in the 44-45k range which I thought was a pretty low range for an advisor role. Also, the recruiter let me know that this is a 12-month contract position with no benefits which was not advertised in the job posting initially. In the second round, you will meet the manager and the director. It was a panel interview, they take turns asking questions and they were almost like quizzing you where they ask different scenarios that don’t make a lot of sense. It also felt like theyre just reading off a script, theyre not interested about your experiences at all. They never asked me about my resume or my education, just 15+ scenario based questions. T
- Honestly dont remember, they asked a lot. The first they will ask you is tell me about yourself

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON)
Interview was a typical screening plus 2 stages following that. They tried to move quickly through the first stages, but the whole process was about 2 months long between this position and another one which I will get into.
- Q: We need to understand how ethical you are, so tell us how you would react to finding an employee printing 1000 pages on company equipment.

10 minute phone screening then 30 minute mix of technical and behavioural questions. Credit questions. Basic finance questions. Situational questions. Enjoyed my interview process. It was way easier than I thought.
