Pros

lucky enough to work with lots of good people, learn a lot, a great place for new grad to start a career and move on

Cons

- favoritism is a norm, promote people that are incompetent - focus on numbers - some branch managers are lazy - lots of politics to play - training is okay - mostly online and conference calls - benefits are expensive and horrible - no discounts on mortgage rates - too many levels of managers - getting micro-management style now - some co-workers are very selfish, not willing to help and share - hard working may not mean promotion and reward - you have to pay to attend bank events - why - it's an expense to the bank

Pros

A couple of smart people who are kind and open to mentoring. Hours not bad given no deal flow in US.

Cons

Top heavy management. Culture values heavy politicking. Low bonuses.
